Job Vacancy – Litigation Lawyer Office Location: Sulaymaniyah – Near Darwaza City Gender: Male & Female Vacancies: 1 Working Days: 5 Days/Week Working Hours: 8 Hours/Day Employment Type: Full-Time Position Overview We are looking for a licensed and experienced Litigation Lawyer to represent the company before courts, government authorities, and other official institutions. The role includes handling litigation, preparing legal documents, providing legal advice, reviewing contracts, and completing all legal procedures and official transactions required by courts and government departments to protect the company's legal interests. Key Responsibilities • Represent the company before courts, governmental authorities, and official institutions. • Handle and follow up on civil, commercial, employment, and corporate legal cases. • Prepare lawsuits, defenses, appeals, petitions, legal memoranda, and other legal documents. • Complete and follow up on all legal procedures, registrations, filings, approvals, and official transactions with courts and government departments. • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents. • Provide legal advice and identify legal and contractual risks. • Maintain confidential legal files and monitor court hearings and legal deadlines. • Coordinate with external lawyers and relevant authorities when required. • Travel within Iraq to attend hearings, meetings, inspections, or complete legal assignments. Requirements • Bachelor's Degree in Law. • Valid license to practice law in the Kurdistan Region and/or Iraq. • Minimum 2 years of practical litigation experience. • Experience in court proceedings, legal drafting, and handling legal cases. • Excellent Kurdish and Arabic (spoken and written), English proficiency is an advantage. • Strong legal drafting, negotiation, communication, and analytical skills. • High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism. • Proficient in Microsoft Office. • Must own a private vehicle with a valid driving license. • Willing to travel within Iraq when required.
