π’ **VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT** ### π₯ Burner Specialist **Company:** Megal **Industry:** Livestock Products π **Location:** Erbil β Kurdistan Region πΌ **Position Type:** Full-time π€ **Gender:** Male / Female π° **Salary:** Based on qualifications and experience π **Announcement No.:** MG-ADM-HR-05 ### π About the Position Megal is seeking an experienced and qualified **Burner Specialist** to operate, monitor, and maintain the heat-based carcass burner system, ensuring safe, efficient, and environmentally compliant operations. ### πΉ Key Responsibilities β’ Operate, monitor, and control industrial carcass burner/incineration equipment. β’ Perform preventive maintenance, cleaning, and inspections of burners, fuel lines, nozzles, valves, and combustion chambers. β’ Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and thermal system faults. β’ Maintain operational logs, temperature records, and maintenance reports. β’ Oversee burner operators and operational safety technicians during thermal cycles. β’ Coordinate with Operations and HSE teams. β’ Ensure compliance with safety and environmental requirements. β’ Report operational and maintenance issues to the Maintenance Leader/Slaughterhouse Manager. ### π Requirements & Qualifications β’ High school certificate, technical diploma, or vocational training in Mechanical/Electrical fields. β’ Minimum **2 years of experience** with burners or related industrial equipment. β’ Experience with automated **PLC control panels** for industrial burners is preferred. β’ Knowledge of local environmental regulations related to waste combustion. β’ Ability to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and thermal faults. β’ Good understanding of workplace safety procedures. β’ Ability to work in a high-temperature industrial environment. β’ Ability to maintain accurate technical and operational records. ### β οΈ Working Conditions β’ High-temperature working environment. β’ Exposure to odor hazards. β’ Variable shift work. ### π What We Offer β’ Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications. β’ Opportunity to join a fast-growing company. β’ Professional and supportive work environment. β’ Company-sponsored training and development programs. ### π© How to Apply Send your updated CV to: π§ **[****[email protected]****](mailto:****[email protected]****)** **Subject:** Burner Specialist π **Contact:** 0750 978 5157 π **Application Deadline:** 20 August 2026 β οΈ Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
