WE ARE HIRING Chief Technology Officer (CTO) 📍Barsam Company – Erbil Barsam is looking for an experienced and hands-on Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead the technology strategy, architecture, and development of our growing portfolio of digital platforms. We are seeking a technology leader who can combine technical expertise, strategic thinking, and team leadership to build secure, scalable, and reliable digital products. Key Responsibilities: -Define and execute the company's technology strategy and roadmap. -Lead the architecture and -development of web and digital platforms -Manage and mentor developers, technical teams, and external technology partners -Establish standards for coding, documentation, testing, QA, and deployment -Oversee cloud infrastructure, servers, databases, APIs, integrations, and DevOps Ensure cybersecurity, data protection, backup, access control, and disaster recovery -Evaluate and select appropriate technologies, frameworks, SaaS solutions, and third-party services Manage Git repositories, development environments, CI/CD, staging, and production releases Monitor system performance, uptime, technical risks, and scalability -Support the integration of AI, automation, analytics, and emerging technologies where appropriate -Manage technology budgets, vendors, and technical resources Provide regular technical and project reports to management Requirements: - 5+ years of professional experience in software development, technology, or related fields - ⁠Proven experience in a technical leadership, engineering management, technical lead, or CTO-level role - ⁠Strong understanding of modern web architecture, backend, frontend, databases, APIs, and system integration - ⁠Experience with Cloud Infrastructure, DevOps, Git, CI/CD, security, and deployment - ⁠Ability to review technical architecture and code quality - ⁠Experience managing developers and multidisciplinary technical teams - ⁠Strong problem-solving, planning, and project management skills - ⁠Good command of English Kurdish and/or Arabic is an advantage • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or a related field is preferred Preferred Experience Experience in one or more of the following will be considered an advantage: Healthcare Technology • EdTech • SaaS • Marketplace Platforms • E-commerce • AI & Automation • Mobile Applications • High-traffic Digital Platforms What We Are Looking For We are not simply looking for a senior developer.
