Job Vacancy Position: Network Administrator Location: Erbil, Iraq Department: Information Technology (IT) - HQ Employment Type: Full-Time Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network Administrator to join our IT team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, securing, and optimizing the organization's network infrastructure to ensure high availability, performance, and security. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical expertise in enterprise networking and be capable of troubleshooting complex network environment. Key Responsibilities Design, implement, and maintain LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN, and Internet connectivity. Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls. Monitor network performance, availability, and capacity using network monitoring tools. Implement network security policies, access control lists (ACLs), VLANs, and VPN technologies. Maintain high availability and redundancy for critical network services. Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues with minimal downtime. Configure and manage Static and Dynamic routing protocols. Manage network documentation, IP addressing plans, and network diagrams. Perform firmware upgrades, configuration backups, and disaster recovery procedures. Collaborate with system administrators, cybersecurity teams, and vendors to ensure reliable IT services. Support data center networking infrastructure and branch connectivity. Ensure compliance with organizational IT security standards and best practices. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field. Minimum 3 years of professional experience as a Network Administrator or Network Engineer. Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, NAT, VPN, STP, and network security. Experience with Cisco and Fortinet enterprise networking equipment. Troubleshooting and analytical skills. Teamwork abilities. Good command of written and spoken English. Required Certifications Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) – Required. Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) – Required. Preferred Qualifications Experience with enterprise firewalls (Cisco Firepower, Fortinet, or others.). Experience with network monitoring tools such as PRTG, SolarWinds, or Zabbix. Experience in the banking or financial sector is preferred.
