Job Vacancy Position: Senior Software Programmer Location: Erbil, Iraq Department: Information Technology (IT) - HQ Employment Type: Full-Time Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Software Programmer to join our IT Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise software applications while ensuring high performance, security, and reliability. The ideal candidate should possess strong programming, database, and analytical skills. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise software applications. Analyze business requirements and convert them into technical solutions. Develop secure, scalable, and high-performance applications. Integrate applications with databases, APIs, and third-party systems. Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects. Optimize application performance and database queries. Participate in system architecture, software design, and code reviews. Prepare technical documentation and user manuals. Ensure compliance with coding standards, security policies, and best practices. Collaborate with network, infrastructure, and information security teams. Support software deployment, upgrades, and maintenance. Participate in disaster recovery and business continuity planning for business applications. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology. Minimum 3 years of professional experience in software development. Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP). Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Teamwork abilities. Good command of written and spoken English. Technical Requirements Candidates should have strong experience with most of the following: C#, Java, .NET, or similar enterprise programming languages SQL Server, Oracle Database, MySQL, or PostgreSQL RESTful APIs and Web Services. HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript. Git or Azure DevOps. Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Application Security Best Practices. System Integration. Performance Tuning and Optimization. Preferred Qualifications Experience in banking or financial systems. Experience with Core Banking integration. Experience with Oracle PL/SQL or Microsoft SQL Server. Knowledge of Docker or Kubernetes is an advantage. Knowledge of networking concepts and information security is preferred.
