📢 **Job Opportunity: General Accountant | Yas Drug Store **in📍**Erbil** We are pleased to announce an opening for a **General Accountant** to manage and support the financial and accounting operations of **Yas Drug Store and its pharmacy network**. 💼 **Key Responsibilities:** - Supervise the recording of financial transactions and ensure accuracy and proper supporting documentation. - Prepare adjusting entries, accruals, prepaid expenses, and depreciation. - Perform monthly accounting closing and prepare trial balances and financial statements. - Prepare monthly **Income Statements, Statements of Financial Position, and Cash Flow Statements**. - Reconcile bank accounts and cash funds. - Monitor and control customer accounts, receivables, and credit limits. - Manage supplier accounts and follow up on payments. - Follow up on inventory records and support stock count and reconciliation activities. - Prepare financial reports and provide analysis to support management decision-making. - Ensure effective internal controls and help safeguard company assets. 🎓 **Qualifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in **Accounting or Financial Management**. **- 8+ years of accounting experience**, including at least **3 years as a Chief Accountant or General Accountant**. - Experience in **pharmaceutical distribution, wholesale trade, or multi-branch retail** is required. - Advanced **Microsoft Excel** skills, including Pivot Tables, Lookup/Matching functions, analytical models, and monitoring dashboards. - Practical experience in **stock counting, inventory reconciliation, and variance analysis**. - Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. - Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet reporting deadlines. 📬 **How to Apply:** Please send your CV with the subject **“General Accountant – Yas Drug Store”** to: 📧 **[email protected]** ⚠️ **Important Notes:** ✅ Please ensure your CV clearly reflects your relevant accounting and sector experience. 📞 Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
